|Episode 7 Action Reports
The one event each year that IGPX fans anticipate, the IGPX All-Star
Festival is complete! Due to extraneous circumstances, Event #4
had to be cancelled midway, but this year's event proved to be an
ever-more exciting 4 days, seeing fans from all over the world
gather in IGPX City to enjoy the festivities.
For the main event this year, there were three main areas for fans
to explore. This includes the IGPX teams and their respective
sponsors. The first area is the Exhibition Zone. Fans could see
various machines used in the IGPX, the mechs used by the pilots
and were provided guided explanations on the ways in which they
are used in the IGPX races. Even some of pilots personal effects
showed up on display for fans to see. The second area is the
Attraction Zone. Fans could sit down and hear from IGPX workers
about behind-the-scenes topics regarding the IGPX. Pilots also
came by for photo ops, and the annual IGPX Charity Auction could
also be found in this area. The third area is the Performance Zone,
taking place on the IGPX track.
The two contests this year were the Time Attack Contest and the
Arm Wrestling Contest. Takeshi from Team Satomi, who has been
rapidly gaining popularity recently, placed 6th in the Time Attack
Contest, with a time of 8:23.52. However, up until the final corner,
he had the best time, and was appraised highly by fans for his
performance. The final tally pulled him ahead of Team Velshtein's
Cunningham to shine as 2048's winner of the "Best Performance"
